


After losing my Creditcard in an indonesion ATM I could not reach DKB Support AT ALL. This Bank has gone from the best Bank for Travellers to the worst nightmare I have ever had while away. WORST BANK EVER - DON'T OPEN AN ACCOUNT HERE! To summarize: dont open an account in this grotesque bank fifth, customers are supposed to be able to deposit money in DKB branchs but the deposit operation doesnt exist in DKB ATM, so forget it.

second, they charge over 2€ a month for a credit card, seriously dkb? third, the hotline service is horrible, you have to wait over 20 mins for somebody to get your call and then the agent treats you like a rat, they are really rude!!! and of course, nur deutsch!!! (only in german, they dont offer hotline in any other language so if you dont speak german, good luck) fourth, after any operation in your account, they take around one week to update your balance, for example, I made some payments the last saturday, and today, tuesday, my balance hasnt been updated yet, so you really never know how much money you have on your account. This "bank" is a joke!!! first, they call themselves online bank but nothing further from reality, once you open your account you have to wait for a couple of weeks to get your login details and your card, so you cannot use your account for weeks. I almost gave up on DKB at one stage a while back but now I would recommend it to anyone needing an online bank!! United Kingdom appears not to be an option. Note though that the default setting is to enable payments in retailers and ATMs in all countries which I was uncomfortable with and have now deselected all except European countries. The simple and clear new design is a real breath of fresh air. Everything is now really easy and simple to navigate around. It's no longer a trawl to click loads of menu options and faff about with TAN numbers to do anything or view my account. Having struggled for years to work with DKB all in German, I can now choose between German and English. I only found it when I changed phones and needed to add DKB onto my new phone. I have banked with DKB since 2009 and have lived through its difficult transition to what it is now via the new blue background DKB app, a *really excellent* online bank! Interesting that I have not yet been told about this new app. A really excellent online bank via the new all-in-one app!
